Sometimes it might be preferably to set User Alerts in Sysero as an alternative to sending users too many e-mails.  To configure these you need to do the following:

    1. Any users that require this feature must have role permissions User: Allow View User Alerts enabled.
    2. There are multiple ways an alert can be added for a user:
      1. DataAction: Type of UserAlert with the following Additional or Input Mappings Set
        • AlertText.
        • ExpireDays (number of days from todays date until alert expires).
        • TargetUser (email or numberic Sysero user id).
        • TargetURL (Psuedo values of [ItemID], [CompanyID] and [TransactionID] will be replaced).
        • SourceTable (if alert for user with same SourceTable and SourceID exists, it will replace with newer one).
        • SourceID.
      2. Process Assignments: Email template can be set to No Email and option User Alert can be checked.
      3. Application Notifications: In Admin > Application > Advanced Options > Notifications, you can set check User Alert and set Email Template to Send to "No E-Mail".  There are a number of triggers to set, some being related to comments.  Please see seperate KB article on setting up comments.
