DetailThis article assumes you are creating a new Azure Fondry instance, rather than re-using an existing one sharing with Sysero and other applications. If shared, then only additional steps may be model deployment and setting API key and Endpoint URL etc. in Sysero.
Advantages of dedicated instance are clearer costs associated with Sysero AI usage and dedicated API key.
- Go to Microsoft Foundry service from Azure Portal.
- Go to Foundry and Click Create.
- Resource Group follow standards you have internally for grouping objects.
- Name the Resource using internal naming standards.
- Pick the region required based on any legal requirements you have around export of data etc.
- Name the project using internal naming standards.
- Accept default on all other options and Create.
- Once created Navigate to the Foundry Portal for that instance.
- Go to My Assets > Models + Endpoints and Deploy Model, choose Base Model.
- Deploy whatever models are required, we recommend naming them same as the model, but internal standards may be followed if you have them. Setting whatever rate limits are considered acceptable from your AI policies.
- Note first part of URL e.g. https://deploymentname.cognitiveservices.azure.com and store API Key.
- Now either following instructions to set in Sysero or send securely to your Sysero support contact.
Endpoint if dedicated can be secured to incoming Sysero public IP's at Foundry Resource level in Resource Management > Networking.
